New Faith Blog Entry
03 Mar 2010 - I've added the first new entry in 18 months to the faith blog. Please
take a look at your convenience and email me with any comments. By the way, I've started looking into adding comment functionality to the entries so as to make it a proper blog. Time will tell how much success I have with this idea. :)
Success on El Capitan!
28 Feb 2010 - I've just returned home having climbed to the 8,085' summit of El Capitan yesterday! There was actually quite a bit of snow on the northern aspects along the ascent, which made for lots more fun than a normal West Texas climb. I got to kick steps up perfect styrofoam and even tried a running glissade on the Guadalupe Trail after it got slushy. I'm going through all the pictures and should have the report up within a few weeks.
The Faith Blog is Back
04 Feb 2010 - I've finished coding the faith blog so that it can be added back in to the site, though, I'm not sure if I like the way it is currently displayed on the front page. As always, please let me know what you think.
Also, look for a new entry or two in the coming weeks. I plan on getting back to posting after most of the bugs have been worked out of the new site design.
Known IE6 Issue
03 Feb 2010 - If you're using Internet Explorer 6, you've likely noticed that there is a problem in the way the data is being pulled into the website. The problem is being researched now, so please rest assured that it will be fixed as soon as possible. Thanks for the feedback already provided, and keep the comments coming!
Comments Needed
02 Feb 2010 - The general web-browsing population can now see the new version of the site. As I work to tie up the loose ends and come up with new features, I really need feedback from anyone and everyone using the site. What do you like or dislike? What browser and version are you using? Do you have any ideas for added content? I would definitely appreciate any feedback you could provide!
daniel@txmountaineer.com Done! (Theoretically...)
01 Feb 2010 - All of the data appears to be pulling correctly to load the new version of the website! There are still some loose ends I need to tie up, including changing the order and names of some items on the menu, but I think I may have everything go live this evening. User feedback will be incredibly important with this! If you have any comments or criticisms, I want to hear them! I'll do some browser testing tonight to see how everything looks, and if there are no major problems...
